Demographics

West Des Moines is home to some of the largest employers in the area including Hy-Vee Corporate, Wells Fargo and Farm Bureau. The new construction projects along Mills Civic Parkway, including Jordan Creek Town Center, Village of Ponderosa, Wells Fargo, The Galleria and others will add approximately 20,000 additional jobs, with West Glen contributing more than 1600 of those. Continued road projects are also underway to extend surrounding streets, opening the area even more for future development.

West Glen Town Center sits directly adjacent to these large residential and retail expansions, offering its own unique, sophisticated urban setting. When complete, West Glen will span more than one million square feet across 69 acres.
